Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications supporting fuel performance, energy efficiency, emissions, and decarbonization initiatives.
- Build responsive, high-performance React-based user interfaces for complex operational and fleet performance data.
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs and integrate them with frontend applications.
- Integrate Azure SQL databases and other enterprise data sources while ensuring efficient data access and consistent business logic.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data engineers, and BI developers to align applications with data models and enterprise data standards.
- Support data validation, troubleshooting, reporting consistency, and root-cause analysis across dashboards, applications, and data pipelines.
- Define application architecture, frontend-backend interactions, data flows, and deployment patterns.
- Create technical documentation covering data sources, logic, assumptions, and application usage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on full-stack development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience building or consuming APIs and backend services.
- Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and Synapse.
- Strong experience with Python and SQL for backend development and data processing.
- Experience querying SQL Server or Azure SQL and working with structured data models.
- Experience building applications that integrate with data pipelines or ETL processes.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices for data-intensive applications and data visualization.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or Azure DevOps.
- Power BI experience is preferred, or experience with similar software.
- Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area.
