Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software addressing business and customer problems.
- Build APIs, integrations, backend services, applications, and reusable software components.
- Write maintainable, testable code focused on simplicity, performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, and collaborative development.
- Create automated unit, integration, functional, and performance tests where appropriate.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical and performance issues.
- Contribute to version control, automated deployment, CI/CD pipelines, engineering standards, and development processes.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver products from concept through production and identify technology improvements.
Requirements
- Professional experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying software.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities for complex technical challenges.
- A strong foundation in software engineering principles, clean code, testing, version control, and collaborative development.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate with technical and non-technical partners.
- Interest in building scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable software.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- More senior opportunities may value technical leadership, architecture, mentoring, system design, and leadership of complex engineering initiatives.
