Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship full-stack features using TypeScript and React on the frontend and Go on the backend.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, integrations, and workflows.
- Scaffold and provision services using Backstage golden paths and internal developer platform capabilities.
- Build and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Provision and manage product infrastructure using Terraform modules and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Design and build AI agents, MCP servers, and LLM-powered product features, ideally using AWS Bedrock.
- Conduct constructive code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Own defined projects end to end from design through production.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React with experience shipping production frontend code.
- Professional experience with a compiled backend language, with Go strongly preferred.
- Understanding of REST APIs, relational databases, and distributed systems fundamentals.
- Comfort operating in a DevOps and self-service model.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently on defined projects.
- ServiceNow development experience, including scripting, Flow Designer, and integrations, is highly preferred.
- Hands-on CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or similar is highly preferred.
- Hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or similar is highly preferred.
- Experience with internal developer portals such as Backstage is preferred.
- Experience building agentic or AI workloads, including AI agents, MCP servers, or LLM integrations, is preferred; AWS Bedrock experience is a significant plus.
