Senior Implementation Consultant (AI & Software Engineering)
Guidewire SoftwareResponsibilities
- Lead configuration, integration, and custom development of Guidewire products for customer implementations.
- Integrate and configure AI capabilities, agentic workflows, and automated tools into Guidewire deployments.
- Build custom logic, integrations, context-management, and orchestration components using Java, JavaScript, and web technologies.
- Collaborate with consultants, business analysts, project managers, and customer stakeholders to develop technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues, analyze logs, and optimize application performance across cloud and relational database environments.
- Conduct peer code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and demonstrate product and AI functionality to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in packaged enterprise software implementations, such as Guidewire InsuranceNow or core P&C software platforms.
- At least 2 years of direct customer-facing technical experience in professional services or software consulting.
- Strong experience with Java, JavaScript, web development, object-oriented design, Eclipse, IntelliJ, and GitHub.
- Foundational knowledge of AI concepts including LLMs, prompt workflows, embeddings, or retrieval frameworks, with the ability to configure and adopt AI capabilities in software delivery.
- Experience with Apache Tomcat, relational databases, XML, Velocity templates, AWS S3, AWS Lambda, AWS PrivateLink, and cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and technical communication skills in distributed, cross-functional teams.
- Preferred: advanced AWS and serverless-services knowledge, P&C insurance-domain familiarity, and a bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent professional experience.
