Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Python applications, services, engineering tools, and data pipelines.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested Python code.
- Work with APIs, data processing, automation, and external integrations.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues and improve existing code.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Work with Airflow, Snowflake, dbt, AWS, CI/CD, and containerized environments.
- Use AI-assisted development and testing tools to improve coding, debugging, automation, and engineering productivity.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on software development experience with Python as a primary programming language.
- Good knowledge of Python fundamentals, including data structures, functions, modules, classes, object-oriented programming, exceptions, and package management.
- Ability to write readable, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and external integrations.
- Understanding of testing and debugging, including experience writing automated tests.
- Good understanding of Git and modern software development workflows.
- Good understanding of SQL and databases.
- Strong problem-solving, learning, feedback-seeking, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with dashboards or data visualization using Splunk, Grafana, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Preferred experience with Airflow, Snowflake, dbt, AWS or another cloud platform, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, infrastructure as code, Splunk, Prometheus, or developer productivity engineering.
