- Define and implement best practices for Wi-Fi validation.
- Collaborate with firmware developers, product managers, test teams, customers, and geographically distributed teams.
- Validate Wi-Fi product performance, reliability, and interoperability across environments.
- Participate in product and software design reviews and provide proactive input on feature designs.
- Manage validation infrastructure and develop test topologies and validation use cases.
- Document software defects and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
- Share information and insights with colleagues and junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in ECE or Computer Science.
- 5 to 11 years of hands-on software testing and automation experience.
- Strong understanding of WLAN standards, including the IEEE 802.11 family.
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
- Experience with automation using Python and Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with software release management and deployment using Git.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with customers and multi-geographic teams.
