Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain e-commerce features, applications, APIs, and integrations.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical design.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Estimate the financial impact of architecture alternatives and align technical solutions with enterprise strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering, or a related field, or equivalent years of related work experience.
- 4–7+ years of experience building sophisticated applications and APIs in cloud and hybrid-cloud environments at large scale, preferably with Java and React.
- 4–7+ years of experience with object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
- At least 3 years of experience with frontend and backend platforms and frameworks including Java, Spring Boot, React or Angular, J2EE, REST web services, microservices, and micro-frontends.
- Expert knowledge of Spring Boot microservices development, responsive websites, ReactJS, NodeJS, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, XML, JSON, and related tooling.
- Expert knowledge of REST and Spring Boot Java development, publish/subscribe design patterns, enterprise application integration, and API integration.
- Expert knowledge of Google Cloud or AWS cloud technologies, SQL, scripting languages, relational databases, and React.
- Experience with application performance analysis, troubleshooting, version-control tools, and onshore/offshore delivery models.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Experience with a large-scale e-commerce retailer is preferred.
