Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy cellular software using modern software engineering practices.
- Develop across cellular protocol stack layers, including upper-layer interfaces and lower-layer implementations.
- Debug software and work with cross-functional teams to determine effective solutions for Apple products.
- Support users with product bring-up and deployment.
- Travel internationally approximately 10% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree or higher is valued.
- Understanding of cellular protocol stacks, particularly 5G, and wireless communications coursework is preferred.
- Software development and debugging experience with C, C++, and Python.
- Experience with multiprocessing and multithreading implementations.
- Experience developing distributed service-based software architectures.
- Fundamentals in object-oriented software design and testing techniques.
- Three or more years of industry experience or equivalent preferred.
- Recent hands-on cellular software development experience preferred.
- Knowledge of fundamental RF systems concepts preferred.
- Familiarity with Matlab and Python scripting and debugging preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to learn.
