Senior Developer, Fullstack - Python

- Develop backend automation integrating multiple metadata sources and generating governed artifacts.
- Design and build agent-enabled applications, workflows, MCP servers, and data-platform tools.
- Build user-facing interfaces for platform and data-discovery workflows.
- Deliver production-quality services with sound API design, testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, engineering best practices, scalability, security, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with data engineering, governance partners, internal teams, and external clients across multiple initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on fullstack development.
- Strong Python engineering skills, including FastAPI, asynchronous programming, API and service design, and Pydantic or JSON Schema validation.
- Experience developing agentic workflows and AI-driven solutions with LLMs and autonomous frameworks.
- Understanding of Graph RAG data structures and experience with Neo4j and Supabase.
- Proficiency with React, Vue.js, ES6, and TypeScript, with additional experience using Next.js preferred in the technical stack.
- Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, Git, CI/CD pipelines, cloud computing, and serverless architecture.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL, Databricks, Snowflake, and Supabase is included in the technical experience.
- Experience developing with AI-powered tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
- Understanding of data-engineering principles, data governance, catalogue tooling, and data-contract standards.
- Experience building MCP servers is preferred.
- Experience in consulting is required, while regulated or life-sciences experience and industry connections are preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, customer-service, and decision-making skills.
