Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve web platform features in the Chromium rendering pipeline.
- Work on rendering, animation, interaction, performance, and interoperability across platforms.
- Collaborate with engineers and program managers on open-source projects.
- Partner with W3C, Chromium, and upstream standards communities to shape APIs and implementation details.
- Deliver browser-engine innovation based on customer and web-developer needs.
- Contribute directly to the Chromium project for functionality shared with other Chromium-based browsers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: master’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: cross-platform development experience and experience contributing to a large-scale software engineering project.
- Preferred: design, coding, and debugging skills in modern programming languages.
