$165k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant devices that operate for long periods with minimal maintenance.
- Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Identify improvements to product experience, reliability, and efficiency.
- Develop prototypes and manage experiments to validate key design concepts.
- Write Linux-based software for common processors and microcontrollers.
- Develop hardware-in-the-loop testbeds and test cases.
- Own the complete software lifecycle, including development, testing, and operational support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a science discipline.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Expertise in technologies previously used and the ability to analyze technical issues deeply.
- Experience with embedded systems and launching and operating consumer or enterprise products.
- Knowledge of networking and the Linux networking stack.
- Curiosity, analytical problem-solving ability, strong engineering fundamentals, and effective written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements.
- Must satisfy applicable ITAR authorization requirements or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations.
Benefits
- Base salary range is $165,000.00-$270,000.00 annually, with potential stock or long-term cash awards, discretionary bonuses, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
