Base Salary

$165k - $270k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant devices that operate for long periods with minimal maintenance.
  • Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews.
  • Identify improvements to product experience, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Develop prototypes and manage experiments to validate key design concepts.
  • Write Linux-based software for common processors and microcontrollers.
  • Develop hardware-in-the-loop testbeds and test cases.
  • Own the complete software lifecycle, including development, testing, and operational support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a science discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Expertise in technologies previously used and the ability to analyze technical issues deeply.
  • Experience with embedded systems and launching and operating consumer or enterprise products.
  • Knowledge of networking and the Linux networking stack.
  • Curiosity, analytical problem-solving ability, strong engineering fundamentals, and effective written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements.
  • Must satisfy applicable ITAR authorization requirements or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations.

Benefits

  • Base salary range is $165,000.00-$270,000.00 annually, with potential stock or long-term cash awards, discretionary bonuses, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
