Responsibilities
- Design and develop integration, system, acceptance, and validation tests for complex multi-component hardware and software systems.
- Own multiple test features and test infrastructure while shaping test strategy and technical decisions.
- Contribute to CI/CD, automation, packaging, validation frameworks, and missing test coverage.
- Debug test failures and cross-layer bugs, perform bug triage, and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Review code and test designs, improve development processes, and raise coding and quality standards.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, development, QA, and stakeholder teams to translate use cases into test plans.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership within the system software QA team.
Requirements
- Strong experience in low-level system testing and integration across complex software and hardware layers.
- Deep understanding of RTOS, complex boot logic, Linux, and device drivers.
- Ability to develop tests using Python and C/C++.
- Experience working with hardware, debuggers, CI/CD pipelines, and build or integration tools.
- Ability to debug cross-layer issues and drive root-cause investigations to lasting corrective actions.
- Clear communication skills, mentoring ability, and experience documenting complex technical decisions.
- Ability to understand complex features and independently design and implement test plans.
