Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to engineering squads and support high-quality, business-aligned development.
- Lead the design and development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software architectures.
- Influence architectural decisions, technology strategy, and long-term engineering roadmaps.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, business leaders, and engineering teams to define and deliver technical solutions.
- Mentor and coach engineers while promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth.
- Advocate for TDD, CI/CD, secure coding, and other software development best practices.
- Develop tools and automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and deployment reliability.
- Monitor post-implementation system performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Partner with SRE teams to optimize infrastructure, design fault-tolerant systems, and maintain SLAs.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations while maintaining software quality.
- Promote autonomous, accountable, and inclusive team practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience delivering scalable and high-performance applications.
- Advanced expertise in .NET, Java, TypeScript, React, React Native, and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of containerized development, microservices architecture, and REST API consumption.
- Experience with modular architectures, reusable components, and superapps.
- Advanced knowledge of Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, SonarCloud, Terraform, and Docker.
- Demonstrated ability to influence technical strategy and architectural roadmaps.
- Practical experience with TDD, ATDD, and BDD.
- Strong proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Expertise in secure development practices and SAST, DAST, and MAST tools.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments and willingness to learn new technologies in Spin’s tech stack.
