Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for engineering squads on secure development lifecycle guidelines.
- Assist developers in interpreting alerts from security analysis tools.
- Provide guidance on remediating common application security vulnerabilities.
- Maintain internal security documentation and secure coding training materials.
- Support application security governance by tracking security milestones.
- Monitor application security metrics for leadership reporting.
- Work with GenAI tools to support AI governance frameworks.
Requirements
- Experience in an information security role or software engineering with an application security focus.
- Understanding of software development processes in agile environments.
- Familiarity with code review concepts and at least one major programming language.
- Basic exposure to cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Conceptual understanding of vulnerability categories and web application security standards.
- Interest in AI security risks and automated workflows.
- Ability to integrate generative AI tools into workflows.
- Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
