Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable Spark/EMR data pipelines processing billions of ad impression and panel receipt events.
- Lead architecture decisions for calibration, report generation, and data-processing systems across multiple AWS accounts.
- Deliver major product features end to end, including streaming attribution, AI-powered report generation, and new vertical measurement frameworks.
- Improve observability, eliminate silent failures, and build self-healing capabilities for distributed systems and advertiser SLAs.
- Mentor junior engineers, lead design reviews, review code, and establish engineering best practices.
- Partner with applied scientists and product managers to productionize ML requirements for advertiser-facing measurement products.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems for reliability and scaling.
- Programming experience in at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience with Scala, Java, Python, big data technologies, distributed systems, and AWS infrastructure is relevant to the role.
