Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to research and address a real RBC business challenge.
- Design, create, and deliver a fully functional prototype that solves a business need.
- Work with subject matter experts, mentors, executive sponsors, and technology and business stakeholders.
- Apply programming, web, mobile, cloud, or full-stack technologies to build the solution.
- Present the project to stakeholders and develop supporting strategy and communications.
- Participate in training such as design thinking, agile development, and other technical and professional learning opportunities.
Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in a college, undergraduate, master’s, or PhD program and graduate between August 2027 and June 2028.
- Understand programming languages, databases, platforms, frameworks, design techniques and tools, code management tooling, and/or web technologies.
- Understand Agile methodologies and processes.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Be a creative, analytical, self-driven thinker who can work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, collaboration, and the ability to challenge the status quo.
- Have one or more of the following: cloud platform experience, mobile application development experience, DevOps tools and processes experience, full-stack technology experience, or service-based architecture and API development experience.
- Preferred qualifications include hackathon experience, stakeholder presentation experience, financial services or FinTech interest, web or mobile development experience, agile or design thinking experience, and Figma experience.
