Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure landing zones aligned with enterprise-scale architecture principles.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, Azure Resource Manager, or Bicep.
- Define and enforce Azure governance using Azure Policy, management groups, and role-based access control.
- Architect and implement multi-region Azure network topologies, including firewalls, network security groups, private endpoints, and ExpressRoute.
- Ensure cloud environments are secure, compliant, resilient, and cost-optimized.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Collaborate with architecture, security, and application development teams.
- Lead technical discussions, provide best-practice guidance, contribute to cloud strategy, and mentor engineers.
- Document solutions and processes and support knowledge sharing across the organization.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Senior-level experience in Azure cloud engineering and enterprise Azure adoption.
- Experience designing and implementing Azure landing zones and Azure workloads.
- Strong knowledge of Azure networking, compute, storage, security, governance, policies, and cost management.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and automation using Terraform, Ansible, Azure Resource Manager, Bicep, PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Deep understanding of VNET peering, ExpressRoute, DNS, firewalls, and routing.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and independent-working skills.
- Ability to technically motivate or support team members and communicate technical concepts through diagrams, dashboards, and documentation.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, and HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
- Jira, Kanban, Scrum, story-pointing, estimation, and cross-functional delivery experience are desirable.
