Base Salary

$87k - $166k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain reliable client-side and server-side application code.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions with technical leads.
  • Develop and integrate GraphQL services and APIs.
  • Translate UX/UI wireframes and mockups into responsive, high-performing front-end interfaces.
  • Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL database schemas.
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive peer feedback.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers and promote engineering best practices.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and system design decisions.
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile/Scrum activities.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and infrastructure as code.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of professional full stack software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular and/or React, and front-end state management.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more back-end technologies such as C++, Node.js, Java, Python, or C#/.NET.
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle and/or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
  • Experience deploying and managing applications on Tomcat and IIS servers.
  • Understanding of API design and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI is preferred.
  • Familiarity with NPM and modern JavaScript toolchains is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Jest, Cypress, or Selenium is preferred.
  • Exposure to Terraform or CloudFormation is preferred.
  • Prior experience mentoring or leading small development teams and contributions to open-source projects are preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
