Responsibilities
- Lead Unix/Linux system development and performance initiatives.
- Deliver foundational platform services for new product development.
- Automate platform installation, patching, and upgrades.
- Establish monitoring and configure alerting and supervision tools using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Configure and use the ELK stack.
- Implement highly available, scalable, and reliable systems.
- Collaborate with system engineers, architects, and principal engineers in Scrum teams to implement platform solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Database Management, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Network Engineering.
- Experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, MLOps, or AI infrastructure, including meaningful production experience with AI/ML workloads.
- Experience operating multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud AI platforms and integrating on-premises services with cloud-provider-hosted model endpoints.
- Proficiency in Python, Shell, and Bash scripting.
- Experience or knowledge with Docker, Kickstart, Packer, and Ansible; exposure to Kubernetes.
- Experience securing and hardening operating systems and Docker containers.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, customer-interfacing, requirements-understanding, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn system architecture quickly in a dynamic environment and work with Scrum teams.
