Base Salary
$82k - $172k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Java and JavaScript.
- Build and enhance situational awareness and collaboration capabilities for critical systems.
- Implement and work with microservices architecture in cloud environments.
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle from conception through deployment.
- Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior developers.
- Stay current with industry trends and cloud technologies and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience developing in a Linux environment.
- Either a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or graduation from an accredited coding bootcamp.
- An active TS/SCI clearance is required; a polygraph is preferred.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain Security+ certification.
- Strong knowledge of software development best practices and methodologies.
- Strong system design and architecture skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior developers.
- Desired qualifications include Agile team leadership, delivery of complex mission-critical applications, Kubernetes or containerized-environment experience, Elasticsearch, Java Spring Boot, microservices, AWS, WebSockets, and RESTful API design and implementation.
