Base Salary
$97k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve customer-facing software solutions.
- Build scalable web and middle-tier applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Develop and maintain security-related functionality such as login, password recovery, and multi-factor authentication.
- Collaborate with business partners, architects, systems analysts, engineers, technology leads, UX, and product owners on technical implementation and new features.
- Develop cloud-enabled applications and manage deployments using Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Jenkins.
- Create unit tests and test automation and help solve test challenges and improve development processes.
- Translate business logic into technical requirements and deliver software in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems, with at least six years of development experience.
- Expertise building scalable applications with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Strong foundation in software design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with web services and technologies including JSON, XML, SOAP, HTTP, and REST.
- Experience with Docker, AWS cloud deployment and application management, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Jenkins.
- Experience with unit testing and test automation frameworks or libraries, including JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, or Serenity.
- Knowledge of Java/J2EE, JavaScript, TypeScript, and web services.
- Understanding of identity and access management, authentication, and authorization.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Experience with brokerage or financial services application development is a plus.
- Knowledge of design systems and web security attack methods and defenses is a plus.
