Base Salary

$97k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve customer-facing software solutions.
  • Build scalable web and middle-tier applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
  • Develop critical authentication and security-related functionality, including login, password recovery, and multi-factor authentication.
  • Collaborate with business partners, architects, systems analysts, engineers, technical leads, User Experience, and Product Owners on technical implementation and new features.
  • Develop cloud-enabled applications and manage deployments using Docker and AWS.
  • Create and maintain unit tests, test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and process improvements.
  • Translate business logic into technical requirements and deliver maintainable, testable software in an Agile environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a related area is preferred.
  • At least 6 years of software development experience.
  • Expertise with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, web services, and scalable web or middle-tier applications.
  • Experience with Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, unit testing, and test automation.
  • Knowledge of Java/J2EE, JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, Serenity, JavaScript, TypeScript, REST, HTTP, JSON, XML, and SOAP.
  • Strong foundation in software design, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Understanding of identity and access management, authentication, and authorization.
  • Experience delivering software in Agile and Scrum environments.
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
  • Brokerage or financial services application development experience, design system knowledge, and knowledge of web security attack methods are preferred.
