Responsibilities
- Deliver new features, services, and product enhancements for the Portal team.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and responsive web applications across devices and platforms.
- Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring technologies.
- Collaborate with Product, Development, QA, and cross-functional teams to implement requirements and improve usability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Use CI/CD, automation, and AI-assisted development practices to improve quality, efficiency, and delivery.
- Provide technical leadership through solution design, implementation coordination, release support, and delivery of commitments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software development and frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Ionic.
- 5+ years of experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
- Experience with Agile/SAFe environments, Scrum, CI/CD, TDD, BDD, DevOps, and automation.
- Strong experience with Git, GitHub, GitHub Copilot, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, and Maven.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Proficiency in complex SQL and relational databases including Snowflake, DB2, or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, and Visual Studio Code.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills across distributed teams and time zones.
- Experience with Kafka, data streaming, messaging, and event-driven systems is a bonus.
