Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable web applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript across frontend and backend layers.
- Design and deploy event-driven serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and related AWS services, including permissions and performance management.
- Implement reproducible, version-controlled cloud environments using Terraform.
- Build and manage automated application and infrastructure deployment pipelines.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery, testing, and legacy-code refactoring while maintaining security and quality oversight.
- Translate client requirements into technical solutions, present architectural roadmaps, engage customer stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Proven commercial experience in a full stack development role.
- Strong experience with React Native, React, Node.js, TypeScript, and Angular, including mobile engineering and reusable components.
- Strong experience with AWS infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda.
- Experience with CI/CD and automation tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Experience with REST APIs, third-party APIs, and GraphQL.
- Working knowledge of Docker and orchestration platforms including Kubernetes and ECS.
- Automated testing experience and strong knowledge of event-driven architectures.
- Excellent communication, consultative problem-solving, and stakeholder-engagement skills in client-facing environments.
- Ability to work autonomously and commute occasionally for client or team sessions.
- Candidates must be based in the United Kingdom.
