Base Salary

$118k - $220k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop software applications using established engineering practices in coordination with a distributed team.
  • Design and build complex SaaS systems while driving platform, coding-standard, and technical implementation decisions.
  • Contribute across design, programming, testing, documentation, QA, and implementation activities.
  • Lead code reviews, enforce standards, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Mentor junior team members and reinforce software development best practices.
  • Estimate development efforts and help ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal and external end users on requirements gathering and application design.
  • Provide technical guidance to management and help shape technical direction for new products.
  • Provide L4 support and use innovation time to explore projects and areas of interest.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development experience across multiple programming languages and the ability to learn new languages quickly.
  • 5+ years of software development experience in the global trade industry, specifically logistics, customs, or supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in .NET development using C# and VB.NET.
  • Proficiency in responsive front-end and single-page application development using Angular.
  • Experience developing and consuming APIs, including documentation with Swagger and Postman.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL persistence systems, including MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
  • Working knowledge of DataDog for observability, application performance monitoring, and real-user monitoring.
  • AWS and/or GCP cloud-native development experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with agentic AI-first development tools and processes.
  • Understanding of application security, design patterns, and N-Tier architecture, along with strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience developing SaaS applications for large to enterprise-class organizations.
  • Preferred qualifications include object-oriented design, algorithms, data structures, computer science fundamentals, analytics solutions, data visualizations, code quality, scalability, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
