Base Salary
$118k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software applications and complex SaaS systems with a distributed team using software development best practices.
- Drive platform selection, coding standards, design decisions, and technical implementation.
- Contribute to design, programming, testing, documentation, QA, and implementation across the development lifecycle.
- Lead code reviews, enforce engineering standards, and provide constructive feedback.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
- Estimate and deliver development efforts on time and to quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external end users on requirements gathering and application design.
- Provide technical guidance to management and help shape technical direction for new products.
- Provide L4 support and troubleshoot application issues.
- Use innovation time to explore pet projects and areas of special interest.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience across multiple programming languages, with the ability to learn new languages quickly.
- 5+ years of software development experience in the Global Trade industry, specifically logistics, customs, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in .NET development with C# and VB.NET.
- Proficiency developing responsive front-end and single-page applications with Angular.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs, including Swagger and Postman documentation tooling.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL persistence systems including MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
- Working knowledge of DataDog for observability, APM, and RUM.
- Experience with cloud-native development on AWS and/or GCP.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with agentic AI-first development tools and processes.
- Lead-level understanding of design patterns and N-Tier architecture.
- Experience developing large to enterprise-class SaaS applications.
- Understanding of application security, object-oriented design, algorithms, data structures, and computer science fundamentals.
- Ability to translate business requirements into analytics solutions and data visualizations.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, conflict-resolution, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to produce clean, efficient, concise, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Comfort working with iterative, specification-light design and adapting to customer feedback.
