Base Salary
$87k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, debug, and maintain software individually and as part of a development team.
- Develop solutions to complex technical issues within an Agile software development organization.
- Write and execute unit and functional tests.
- Troubleshoot and help resolve technical issues in laboratory and operational environments.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, release planning, and related team activities.
- Provide support to systems engineering, test engineering, and system owner teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with 4–8 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 2–6 years of experience.
- Significant experience with Java, React, JUnit, Mockito, Spring Framework, Spring Security, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with web development, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and XSD.
- Experience with Linux, version control systems such as Git or Subversion, and development tools or IDEs such as Eclipse and VS Code.
- Experience with AI-assisted software development workflows and tools such as Claude Code and Codex.
- Experience with cloud-based systems and Agile software development environments.
- Ability to obtain an SF-85 Public Trust suitability determination and U.S. citizenship.
- Preferred experience includes Python, Ansible playbooks, YAML, Linux shell scripting, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and MongoDB.
- Preferred knowledge of Agile/SAFe practices and air traffic control or flight services.
