Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support software services exposing trading-platform functionality through APIs and integration interfaces.
- Build reusable libraries, services, frameworks, and standardized integration patterns across the trading ecosystem.
- Develop event-driven, streaming, messaging-based, and publish-subscribe integration capabilities for market and operational data.
- Define and maintain service contracts, interface specifications, and integration standards.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, automated testing, infrastructure automation, configuration management, and observability.
- Monitor and support production services, investigate incidents and performance issues, and conduct root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, data engineers, operations, and customer-facing teams to translate requirements into maintainable software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience designing and developing enterprise-grade software systems.
- Proven experience building APIs, integration services, and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of service-oriented and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with software delivery pipelines and modern development practices.
- Knowledge of secure software development principles.
- Experience across several of Java, Python, C#, Go, REST APIs, streaming and messaging technologies, Kafka, Linux-based environments, CI/CD pipelines, containerisation platforms, relational and NoSQL databases, monitoring and observability platforms, and cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Financial markets or exchange technology, market data or trading-platform integration, highly available or low-latency environment, cloud certification, and DevOps or Infrastructure-as-Code experience are desirable.
