Responsibilities
- Modernize legacy systems into cloud services and develop new B2B and B2C insurance products.
- Build and maintain backend applications using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
- Develop solutions involving REST APIs and CI/CD pipelines.
- Prototype AI-driven solutions with AZ Gen-AI Lab and GPT-4o during innovation activities.
- Collaborate in global hackathons to develop technology prototypes.
- Optimize processes through automation, AI, and innovative problem-solving.
Requirements
- 7–9 years of Java/J2EE experience, including Java 12 or later, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Maven and Jenkins.
- Insurance domain knowledge, with ABS RAP/RCP experience preferred.
- Kafka, Camunda, or Azure experience is advantageous.
- Experience with Git workflows and JUnit testing.
- Familiarity with Eclipse or IntelliJ, JIRA, and DBVisualizer.
- Strong English communication skills and the ability to solve complex technical challenges systematically.
- AI/ML awareness or an interest in machine learning is a bonus but not required.
