Build & Release Engineer - New Grad (December 2026)

Responsibilities
- Execute release cuts from Git repositories across multiple product lines and branches.
- Manage dependency and firmware version uprevs with upstream teams.
- Own release branching, tagging, and versioning strategies.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, testing, orchestration, and deployment.
- Automate build infrastructure, troubleshoot pipeline failures, and enforce pipeline quality gates.
- Manage artifact versioning, signing, storage, provenance, traceability, and cross-environment promotion.
- Administer and optimize artifact repositories.
- Develop and maintain the internal Release Management portal, including UI, backend services, and external integrations.
- Integrate the portal with CI/CD systems, artifact repositories, and downstream release workflows.
- Coordinate with Program Validation, TPMs, and domain teams on release gates, timing, risks, blockers, and sign-off.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with graduation by December 2026.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience and strong coding ability in at least one modern language.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong Git experience, including branching, tagging, and release workflows.
- Experience with artifact management systems such as JFrog Artifactory or Nexus.
- Experience designing, building, or maintaining internal tools or portals.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across build, dependency, and release issues.
- Front-end development experience with React or TypeScript is preferred.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
- Experience with embedded or automotive release processes and monitoring or observability tools is preferred.
- Experience with Jira, Polarion, or similar issue-tracking tools is preferred.
