Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain engaging, responsive, and high-performance web applications using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- Design and implement AI-powered software solutions that improve customer experiences, platform intelligence, and product capabilities.
- Build and integrate AI skills, agents, tools, and intelligent workflows into internal and customer-facing applications.
- Build reusable, scalable, secure UI components and libraries focused on maintainability and performance.
- Collaborate with Product, Research, and Data teams to identify valuable AI-driven automation opportunities.
- Maintain shared component libraries and front-end architecture.
- Write unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and Agile ceremonies.
- Mentor other developers and serve as a subject matter expert in front-end technologies.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, trends, and best practices to strengthen the technology platform and development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person university or college.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers.
- 5+ years of production development experience using modern front-end frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
- Familiarity with large language models, prompt engineering, or agent-based architectures.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and front-end build tools such as Webpack and Babel.
- Strong grasp of web standards, accessibility, and security best practices.
- Experience working in Agile development environments and with unit, performance, and automation testing.
- Preferred experience with Redux or Context API, AI agents, workflow automation platforms, intelligent search, AI-assisted development, CI/CD pipelines, Git, .NET Core, SQL Server, relational and document databases, Node.js, AWS S3, Lambda, SQS, Kafka, and Redis.
Benefits
- The position is located in Richmond, Virginia, with in-office work Monday through Thursday and work from home on Friday.
