Responsibilities
- Translate detailed designs into software programming and configuration.
- Design, model, automate, orchestrate, deploy, monitor, and operate workflows using IBM BPM/BAW or Camunda.
- Develop software using Java and Spring Boot, including integrations with custom user interfaces.
- Publish and consume events through Kafka or Confluent.
- Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities.
- Handle workflow incidents and support functional and performance testing.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to other software developers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of practical experience in business process analysis and working with IBM BPM/BAW or Camunda.
- At least 5 years of software development experience with Java, Spring Boot, APIs, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience delivering IBM BPM/BAW or Camunda 7/8 solutions, including BPMN/DMN modeling, external task workers, incident handling, deployment, and operations.
- Experience modeling and deploying workflows in Camunda Modeler or IBM BPM/BAW and integrating them with custom UIs.
- Practical experience with Kafka or Confluent event streaming.
- At least 2 years of practical experience analyzing processes for automation opportunities.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps pipelines, JSON, functional testing, and performance testing.
- Understanding of AI-enabled workflow optimization and data-driven decision automation.
- Banking knowledge.
- Camunda Certified Modeler or Developer certification.
- Kafka/Confluent practitioner certification.
- Azure AZ-900, AZ-104, or AZ-204 certification.
