Base Salary
$190k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend services and platform primitives for complex engineering workflows and collaboration at scale.
- Scale Flow from thousands to hundreds of thousands of users while improving performance, reliability, observability, and security.
- Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines, test infrastructure, and internal tooling.
- Collaborate with frontend and AI engineers on APIs, data models, and integration points.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction as the product and customer base grow.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems in a cloud environment.
- Strong understanding of systems design, distributed systems, reliability, observability, and security best practices.
- Experience with containerization and infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Docker and Terraform.
- Experience with a major cloud provider such as AWS or GCP.
- Ability to own projects end-to-end and make pragmatic tradeoffs in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative, low-ego approach and willingness to work with product, design, and customer-facing teams.
