Base Salary
$220k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and accelerate the existing internal AI talent acquisition platform from v1 toward full automation
- Build LLM-powered pipelines for sourcing, resume screening, and candidate evaluation
- Design and ship AI-conducted interviews, structured screening flows, scoring rubrics, and evaluation logic
- Integrate the recruiting platform with ATS, scheduling, and communication tools
- Own architecture, data models, prompt and evaluation design, performance, and reliability decisions end-to-end
- Work directly with the CEO’s office and talent team to deliver rapid, high-impact improvements
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience, at the SWE II or Senior level, with production systems personally built and owned
- Strong applied AI and LLM engineering experience, including prompt engineering, evaluations, and agentic architectures
- Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python
- Experience automating end-to-end workflows using pipelines, integrations, and robust edge-case handling
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field from a top-tier program
- Self-directed and decisive, with the ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and close loops independently
- Based in San Francisco and committed to working in the office five days per week
- Bonus: experience building recruiting, HR technology, or adopted internal tooling
- Bonus: production experience with conversational AI, voice agents, or automated interviewing
- Bonus: experience as an early engineer at a successfully shipping startup
