Base Salary
$140k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build internal applications, integrations, and automations using TypeScript and Python.
- Partner with internal technical and non-technical teams to understand workflows and build tools that reduce manual effort.
- Build and operate AI-powered workflows using LLMs and agents with evaluation, human review, and fallback paths.
- Develop systems for lead routing, data enrichment, and operational processes that connect everyday tools and data.
- Turn prototypes and existing automations into reliable, maintainable systems with testing, monitoring, access controls, and clear ownership.
- Own projects from problem definition and implementation through rollout, user feedback, and ongoing support.
- Make build, buy, and reuse decisions while improving existing systems and reducing duplication.
- Investigate failures across application code, integrations, and data flows and improve reliability, performance, and cost.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience building and operating production applications, services, or integrations.
- Strong TypeScript and Python skills, including maintainable and tested production code in both languages.
- Ability to work directly with technical and non-technical users to turn ambiguous needs into useful products.
- Practical judgment about using AI, deterministic workflows, and human review to improve team operations.
- Ability to trace problems across applications, APIs, databases, and infrastructure through resolution.
- Awareness of reliability, security, data access, and long-term system maintenance.
- Ability to take ownership, make tradeoffs, and communicate progress and decisions clearly.
- Preferred experience includes internal tools, business applications, or GTM and Operations automation.
- Preferred experience includes LLM-powered applications or agent workflows, quality evaluation, failure handling, Rust, cloud infrastructure, background jobs, data pipelines, Salesforce, Snowflake, or Slack.
