Base Salary
$174k - $212k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship production features for live voice-agent products, including drive-thru and phone-ordering applications.
- Own customer problems end to end by diagnosing issues, proposing solutions, and delivering production fixes.
- Build reusable agent modules for use across customers and industries.
- Improve agent accuracy on real-world menus and catalogs while maintaining structured data consistency across locations.
- Contribute to model fine-tuning and adaptation for customer-specific vocabularies and domains.
- Build evaluation and scoring capabilities and run experiments to measure customer outcomes.
- Identify product problems proactively and work directly with customers and technology partners.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping production backend services in the cloud.
- Typically 2+ years of engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Experience taking a project or system from idea to production.
- Ability to work across Kotlin, Python, and TypeScript.
- Comfort using modern AI coding tools as a default part of the development workflow.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar parts of the stack quickly, communicate clearly, and work directly with customers.
- Preferred experience training, fine-tuning, or adapting models; evaluating or scoring models or agents; working with audio, speech-to-text, or text-to-speech; or building systems from zero to one.
