Responsibilities
- Design and develop major components of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Networking.
- Build and launch highly scalable distributed services into production.
- Operate high-scale services and improve their resilience, reliability, security, and availability.
- Design distributed-system interactions and work across low-level systems and the broader technology stack.
- Build services that protect customer cloud environments and support secure, compliant data movement.
- Make architectural tradeoffs, communicate decisions effectively, and execute software initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience with distributed systems and software development and design.
- Experience launching software features into production and operating high-scale services.
- Understanding of how to make services more resilient.
- Experience with services requiring long-distance data movement subject to compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Strong coding skills and the ability to work as a distributed-systems generalist across low-level systems and broad system interactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and learn new technologies.
