Base Salary
$92k - $147k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support automated software solutions for applications, services, APIs, and system integrations.
- Translate business, functional, and technical requirements into scalable automated validation solutions.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, utilities, reusable components, and test suites.
- Create and execute unit, functional, integration, performance, regression, and end-to-end automated tests.
- Troubleshoot defects, test failures, and distributed-system issues through debugging and root-cause analysis.
- Integrate automated quality solutions with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes for continuous testing.
- Manage test data, environments, execution activities, quality metrics, documentation, and stakeholder reporting.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders on design, architecture, code reviews, delivery, and operational readiness.
- Participate in Agile planning, refinement, estimation, prioritization, delivery activities, and Software Engineering Guild initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on Java development experience building, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites, including Selenium.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, object-oriented design, design patterns, and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, automation, and modern software delivery practices.
- Experience creating and executing unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.
- Familiarity with gRPC or similar API technologies and service-to-service integrations.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills across distributed systems.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, code reviews, and software quality standards.
- Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, curiosity, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
