Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs for Apify’s core platform.
- Run Actors end-to-end from the Console through container or microVM execution on Apify servers.
- Develop and support storages, Actor Standby, Apify Proxy and Unblocker, the public API framework, and the Console framework.
- Contribute to AWS infrastructure and the deployment process for platform applications.
- Work collaboratively in a small cross-functional team and participate in debugging, testing, code reviews, and frequent deployments.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of industry experience building backend systems and APIs.
- Strong TypeScript/Node.js development and debugging skills, or equivalent programming experience with the ability to learn quickly.
- Familiarity with Linux.
- Experience with AWS, other public clouds, or the listed platform technologies is a plus.
- Experiment-driven and collaborative mindset with good communication skills in English.
