Responsibilities
- Design, document, and execute structured test plans, test cases, and edge-case scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing across software applications.
- Log, track, and prioritize complex defects with precise reproduction steps and partner with developers on root-cause analysis.
- Identify test cases suitable for automation and help define flows for automated script transition.
- Lead test case reviews and risk assessment sessions and mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of dedicated software quality assurance experience focused on manual testing.
- Deep expertise in functional, regression, boundary, exploratory, and acceptance testing across web and mobile platforms.
- Strong RESTful API testing experience using tools such as Postman, Charles Proxy, or Swagger.
- Exposure to automation tools or concepts, including Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or basic scripting.
- Proficiency with Jira, Zephyr, or TestRail and SQL for data validation.
- Advanced written and verbal English proficiency for collaboration with US-based clients.
- Mandatory experience in nearshore or offshore client-facing startup cultures.
