Responsibilities
- Design, document, and execute structured test plans and test cases for complex software applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing to ensure robust software delivery.
- Log, track, and prioritize complex defects, collaborating with developers for root-cause analysis.
- Identify candidates for test automation and assist in defining test flows for automated script transition.
- Mentor mid-level/junior QA engineers on QA methodologies and elevate team output through reviews and risk assessments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of dedicated experience in software quality assurance with a focus on manual testing.
- Deep expertise in functional, regression, boundary, exploratory, and acceptance testing.
- Strong experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Familiarity with automation tools/concepts to bridge manual and automated testing efforts.
- Proficiency with test management tools and database query languages for data validation.
- Advanced English proficiency for collaboration with US-based clients.
- Experience in nearshore/offshore client-facing startup cultures.
