Responsibilities
- Define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, test strategies, and test coverage approaches.
- Estimate, prioritize, and plan functional and non-functional testing activities.
- Design and document test cases and scenarios using Gherkin syntax.
- Implement and maintain automation suites for functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Manage and optimize manual and automated test cases and track defects through resolution.
- Execute functional, non-functional, security, performance, integration, regression, post-production validation, and ratification testing.
- Monitor test execution results and delivery quality while identifying testing risks, blockers, and dependencies.
- Promote Continuous Testing and continuous improvement practices within the team.
Requirements
- More than four years of experience in Quality Engineering, QA Automation, Testing, or Software Testing.
- Experience applying ISTQB standards and best practices and designing testing strategies.
- Experience with advanced testing techniques, BDD, Gherkin, backend automation, web automation, and desktop automation.
- Experience with Selenium, Rest Assured, Karate DSL, Serenity, Appium, and Cucumber.
- Experience developing test automation with Java and JavaScript.
- Experience managing test cases and defects with Jira and Xray.
- Experience testing APIs with Postman and implementing continuous testing with Jenkins and Bitbucket.
- Experience managing test data, test scenarios, test repositories, and functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Knowledge of Continuous Testing and Performance Testing frameworks.
- Preferred experience with DevSecOps testing practices, configuration management, branching strategies, mobile testing, performance and load testing, security testing, test automation design patterns, Dynatrace, MongoDB, OWASP, and security throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, collaboration, organization, problem-solving, proactivity, adaptability, results orientation, and ability to work autonomously.
