Responsibilities
- Define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategies, coverage, and test approaches.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and execute functional and non-functional testing activities.
- Design and document test cases and scenarios using Gherkin syntax and BDD practices.
- Implement and maintain automated suites for functional, integration, regression, web, backend, desktop, API, and mobile testing.
- Manage and optimize manual and automated test cases, test repositories, test data, and defects through resolution.
- Execute security, performance, load, certification, post-production validation, and retesting activities.
- Monitor test execution results and delivery quality while identifying testing risks, impediments, and dependencies.
- Promote Continuous Testing and continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements
- More than four years of experience in Quality Engineering, QA Automation, Testing, or Software Testing.
- Experience applying ISTQB standards, advanced testing techniques, testing strategies, BDD, and Gherkin scenarios.
- Experience automating backend, web, and desktop tests and performing API testing with Postman.
- Experience using Selenium, Rest Assured, Karate DSL, Serenity, Appium, and Cucumber.
- Experience developing test automation with Java and JavaScript.
- Experience managing test cases and defects with Jira and Xray.
- Experience implementing continuous testing with Jenkins and Bitbucket.
- Experience executing functional, integration, regression, performance, load, security, and non-functional mobile testing.
- Preferred experience with DevSecOps testing practices, configuration management, branching strategies, test automation design patterns, Dynatrace, MongoDB, OWASP, and applied security across the testing lifecycle.
