Responsibilities
- Define and refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Design Quality Engineering test strategies, coverage approaches, and automation plans.
- Estimate, prioritize, and plan functional and non-functional testing activities.
- Design and document test cases and scenarios using Gherkin syntax.
- Implement and maintain automation suites for functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Manage and optimize manual and automated test cases and track defects through resolution.
- Execute functional, non-functional, security, performance, integration, regression, post-production validation, and ratification testing.
- Monitor execution results and deliverable quality while identifying testing risks, blockers, and dependencies.
- Promote Continuous Testing and continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements
- More than four years of experience in Quality Engineering, QA Automation, or Software Testing.
- Experience applying ISTQB standards and best practices and designing testing strategies.
- Advanced testing experience using BDD, Gherkin, functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, backend automation, web automation, desktop automation, and API testing.
- Experience with Selenium, Rest Assured, Karate DSL, Serenity, Appium, Cucumber, Postman, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, and Xray.
- Experience developing test automation with Java and JavaScript.
- Experience administering test data, managing test scenarios and repositories, and applying Continuous Testing practices.
- Knowledge of Continuous Testing and Performance Testing frameworks.
- Desirable experience with DevSecOps testing practices, configuration management, branching strategies, mobile testing, performance and load testing, security testing, Dynatrace, MongoDB, OWASP, and design patterns for test automation.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, collaboration, organization, problem-solving, proactivity, adaptability, autonomy, and results orientation.
