Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot complex enterprise applications, backend services, APIs, microservices, and integrations.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs, implementation specifications, and software solutions.
- Investigate production issues through code analysis, system logs, debugging, root-cause analysis, performance optimization, and preventive remediation.
- Configure and customize application features and software settings to meet business requirements.
- Define project scope, delivery plans, timelines, dependencies, milestones, risks, and resource coordination for medium-sized projects.
- Lead change management, stakeholder communication, implementation, cross-functional collaboration, and technical decision-making.
- Improve engineering quality through automated testing, code reviews, version control, CI/CD, and secure development practices.
- Integrate AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications and workflows.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in candidate interviews and hiring assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least eight years of professional software development experience.
- Strong Java and JavaScript programming skills, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Experience delivering complex enterprise applications, backend services, APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and software architecture principles.
- Experience building scalable, secure, and reliable applications with cloud technologies.
- Experience with AI/ML, particularly Generative AI, and applying it to software solutions.
- Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, performance optimization, and production troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with automated testing, code reviews, version control, CI/CD, and Agile development.
- Demonstrated ownership of technical delivery, project planning, risk management, and cross-team coordination.
- Strong communication, stakeholder collaboration, and technical mentoring skills.
- Preferred experience with Oracle Fusion Sales, CRM platforms, sales and marketing applications, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, cloud-native development, Python, LLMs, AI agents, RAG, intelligent automation, enterprise application configuration, change management, release processes, operational efficiency, and AI-assisted development tools.
