Base Salary

$100k - $130k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute robust APIs and scalable data engineering pipelines using Python and distributed computing frameworks.
  • Provision, scale, and optimize AWS cloud resources using Terraform.
  • Create production-ready low-level designs optimized for performance and database efficiency.
  • Collaborate with clients and external stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify business needs.
  • Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, run daily standups, and conduct peer code reviews.

Requirements

  • Production-level Python programming experience with advanced software design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS, and containerized deployments.
  • Experience using Terraform for multi-environment infrastructure provisioning.
  • Expertise in relational SQL and non-relational NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Experience building distributed systems and high-throughput data processing workflows.
  • Strong stakeholder management, mentorship, and communication capabilities.
