Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own business initiatives from inception through production.
- Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to define scope, estimate effort, and identify technical dependencies.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, resilient, secure technical designs.
- Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and architectural patterns.
- Design, deploy, and manage large-scale, high-throughput enterprise web applications and microservices.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior and mid-level developers, advise analysts, and allocate work as needed.
- Assess risk, maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and escalate or report control issues transparently.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering and application development.
- Deep knowledge of core Java, including multithreading, concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, enterprise integration patterns, and web application security risks.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle Database, including advanced SQL, PL/SQL, query optimization, indexing strategies, and schema design.
- Experience designing, deploying, and managing scalable microservices in containerized environments using platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift, AWS ECS, or Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing and managing distributed caching solutions such as Hazelcast or Redis.
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
