Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and microservices powering the checkout experience.
- Build event-driven AWS SNS/SQS pipelines for asynchronous payment, order, and inventory processing.
- Optimize MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis database and cache layers for high traffic volumes.
- Write automated tests, review pull requests, and promote sustainable architecture and clean code.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver improvements in short sprints.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues while balancing long-term code health with pragmatic product delivery.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of backend development experience with senior-level ownership.
- Mastery of PHP 8.x using Laravel, Symfony, or modern enterprise frameworks.
- Experience with relational databases and caching, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Experience designing APIs and microservices using OpenAPI/Swagger standards.
- Experience with asynchronous processing using SNS/SQS.
- Knowledge of containerization and CI/CD workflows using Docker, Git, and GitLab CI.
- Fluent English and transparent, solution-oriented communication.
- Experience with e-commerce, checkout flows, or payment processor integrations is preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and application observability or monitoring tools is preferred.
