Base Salary
$152k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, unit test, and debug changes in NVIDIA’s software stack.
- Contribute to emulation, hardware bring-up, and product hardening for next-generation hardware.
- Follow devices from manufacturing through development to datacenter systems, desktops, notebooks, and workstations.
- Solve software and hardware architecture problems affecting end users and OEM partners.
- Collaborate with kernel driver, GPU architecture, system design, and manufacturing organizations.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent C and C++ programming skills, including libraries and toolchains.
- 5+ years of hands-on low-level systems software development experience, preferably with Linux.
- Knowledge of computer system architecture and microprocessor fundamentals, including caches, buses, memory controllers, and DMA.
- Strong software engineering, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, self-management, and leadership abilities.
- Experience with large system software codebases is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced development environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency using modern AI productivity tools to streamline work, improve quality, and automate routine tasks.
