Base Salary
$152k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, unit test, and debug changes in NVIDIA’s software stack for next-generation hardware.
- Develop and support GPU diagnostics software through emulation, hardware bring-up, product hardening, manufacturing, and production deployment.
- Work closely with kernel driver, GPU architecture, system design, manufacturing, and partner organizations.
- Address systems software problems affecting NVIDIA end users and OEM partners across datacenter, desktop, notebook, and workstation systems.
- Apply deep knowledge of hardware and software architectures to solve complex technical problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent C and C++ programming skills, including familiarity with related libraries and toolchains.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing low-level systems software, preferably with Linux.
- Knowledge of computer system architecture, including caches, buses, memory controllers, and DMA.
- Strong software engineering skills and experience working with large systems software codebases are preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, leadership, self-management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced development environments during critical project phases.
- Demonstrated proficiency with modern AI productivity tools for improving quality and automating routine tasks.
