Base Salary
$150k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable, production-grade artificial intelligence solutions for client experiences and data-informed business decisions.
- Build Python-based data pipelines, enterprise integrations, and cloud solutions connecting applications with Generative AI and large language model capabilities.
- Design, develop, and support trading applications in cloud environments.
- Implement data validation, quality controls, and data-integrity practices throughout the data lifecycle.
- Develop automated testing strategies, test data, output validation, monitoring, observability, and operational practices.
- Debug complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, data scientists, and business partners to translate needs into secure and reliable systems.
- Mentor others and promote software quality, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data engineering, engineering, mathematics, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of software engineering, data engineering, or related experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
- Advanced Python development experience focused on data processing, system integrations, and pipeline development.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting trading applications in cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Run, Google Cloud Storage, and Dataflow, or comparable cloud-native technologies.
- Experience integrating APIs, distributed systems, and enterprise applications.
- Experience with data accuracy management, validation, quality controls, and data-integrity practices.
- Strong problem-solving and technical-troubleshooting skills, including production debugging and root cause analysis.
- Experience developing automated testing strategies, creating test data, validating outputs, and using modern source-control practices.
- Preferred experience integrating Generative AI and large language model capabilities into enterprise applications.
- Preferred experience with vendor-provided AI platforms, cloud-based AI services, scalable data platforms, AI application architecture, and DevOps practices.
- Preferred ability to collaborate cross-functionally, adapt to changing priorities, and develop others through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
