Base Salary
$145k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize software for mission-critical autonomous systems.
- Develop algorithms for real-time processing of heterogeneous sensor data, state estimation, and threat detection.
- Build LLM- and AI-driven systems that assess threats and make rapid response decisions.
- Integrate sensors, effectors, and autonomous platforms.
- Engineer scalable, reliable, and fail-safe systems for high-stakes environments.
- Collaborate with robotics experts, hardware engineers, and system integrators to deliver integrated solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years contributing to system design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 2+ years of experience mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Strong proficiency in Rust, Python, C++, or Java.
- Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Active US security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US security clearance.
- Experience with autonomous systems, embedded systems, or robotics is valued.
- Knowledge of AI/ML, sensor processing, swarm behaviors, LLM toolchains, and real-time data workflows is desirable.
- Experience deploying and maintaining robust production systems is valued.
