Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end systems for measuring and automatically improving agentic AI quality.
- Develop and maintain capabilities for Amazon Connect’s agentic AI offering and workflow orchestration automation.
- Create scalable, resilient systems for modern cloud contact centers and customer resolution platforms.
- Partner with scientists to translate new research into reliable customer-facing capabilities.
- Drive technical vision, influence product direction, lead engineering efforts, and raise engineering quality standards.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to design, architecture, coding, testing, operations, and system scaling.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
