Base Salary
$170k - $234k/yr
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, adapt, and develop state-of-the-art language and multimodal foundation models for enterprise applications.
- Perform empirical analysis, develop production-ready code, and fine-tune enterprise-grade LLMs and multimodal models.
- Integrate models with company products and tools while incorporating enterprise customer feedback.
- Design data annotation guidelines and processes and collaborate on preprocessing, data consumption, and automated or manual annotation.
- Evaluate product and algorithm performance, develop evaluation paradigms, and compare increasingly complex approaches.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver AI services for critical projects.
- Manage large datasets, resolve data-quality issues, and interpret data in support of business goals.
- Document work plans, project evolution, and results and assess relevant research publications.
- Lead projects independently and mentor and guide team members.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field plus at least five years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field plus at least seven years of relevant experience.
- At least five years of industry experience in artificial intelligence, NLP, vision, or ASR.
- In-depth deep-learning knowledge with expertise in PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong understanding of Transformers and hands-on experience with the Hugging Face library.
- Experience solving NLP and ASR problems using LLMs.
- Experience with large datasets, data-quality issues, and business-focused data interpretation.
- Expertise in Python and production-ready, scalable software development.
- Ability to lead projects independently and mentor and guide team members.
- Knowledge of deployment using Docker, AWS, or Kubernetes.
- Strong communication skills and a track record of delivery under tight deadlines.
